have a 86 reg cab, bought the truck w/no seats in it...threw a set of mazda millenia leather buckets in it...and since i'm rebuilding the entire truck w/a custom driveshaft/trans tunnel i want to go w/a bench...my buddy offered me a nissan hardbody bench for my buckets....width wise does the hardbody bench seat fit well in the 84-88 yota cabs?

just put the tacoma bench seat, but make sure if your truck is manual you get the manual trans seat, the cut in the middle is deeper than the automotic ones.

 

I'd give you mine, but it's a turd and you're a very long distance from me. Have you tried junkyards?

 

My experience with swapping seats is there's always a little bit of bracket work to make them fit. Toyota doesn't like to keep things the same for long.

 

4runner bucket seats and center console should be nice.
