check this yall. My brother in law found an ad on craigslist for a 76 tailgate. he told me to call on it and as the ad had no pictures. I offered the old guy 25 bucks and went to pick it up. So check this. The tail gate is NEW! he bought the truck new in 76 brough it home and put a camper on it and removed the tail gate in 1976! and stuck it in the corner of his garage. Sold the truck many years ago and forgot about the gate in the garage. So I now have it for my truck. Original paint, not even a dent, or sratch other than a little scuff to the black letter. NO rust and shines like new. I would dare say I have the best tail gate out there. Was a helluva find!

Lucky :D. I got a tail gate from a junkyard, it needs some work, the handle things are rusted off and what not, better than my original which is dented in badly.

Yeah I agree. The most appropriate place to display this awesome find is IMO, welded on the back of your truck.
