Do you guys think these amp kits are a waste of money? should i just buy everything separately? I really like this Tsunami kit, its meant for two amps and comes with just about everything, even battery terminals and a capacitor, but it is a little pricey. what do you think about it?

How much power are you guna run? My last set up cost me about $60-70 including fuse+holder, wiring, and connectors

Most expensive was the RF battery terminal which was $20+. I had spent about $25 on almost 20' of 4AWG, fuse+ holder around $15. Then the connectors were a few $$

the reason why your headlights did that was because your alt and battery couldnt keep up with the power demands. from wat ive heard is caps are cool if you just want to band aid the problem until you get a higher outputing alt or another battery. plus if you accidently hook up a cap wrong or it shorts out some how they can explode shooting watever liquid is in them out all over your interior. but thats wat ive heard so dont quote me on it. i used to run a 3 farad cap wen i had my two tens in my truck but i didnt like how it would charge at any random moments so i would never know if my battery would be dead wen i woke up in the morning

That price isn't bad. The distribution blocks will cost $30 ea,wire another $60+.Sell off what you don't use!
Though you still will need a good battery & higher out put alternator!

Upgrade the electrical. As said above capacitors are a quick fix but entirely take care of the problem anyway. i say upgrade the alt and battery.

besides the Alt & Batt, I recomend you change out your factory power and ground cable to a thicker guage, to maximise the benifits from the Upgraded ALT & Batt
