which way did you go with your suspension ?

I just bought myself a 86 Toyo Pick up in mint condition..... and first things first suspension!!!

i removed asll bupstops but i suggest you jus get a hack saw and cut them down to size, a 3 inch steel block. not aluminum ones(beefed taco has sick ass 3 inch blocks). and the 3 leafs on the back i pulled the one in the middle, so only the first main one, and the short helper leaf. and the front is just torsioned. lol

 

How hard is that torsioning? I'm reading about it but i don't quite understand it. You know of a good website that has pictures that still work ?

here i found this pic on here. the bolt on the bottom loosen lowers it and tightening it raises it up.

hahaha yup ur truck is cherry tho mean proj.

 

I think you should raise up the torsion's an inch, and do the BJ flip mod and torque everything down to spec.

this way you can still be as low as you did earlier, but still have more "spring rate"

how did you paint the truck anyway?

thanks guys! haha and yea nevah have nuff money for pay the shop so everything i wanted to do had to do myself. only thing had to go shop for is the alarm sys. and mount tires thats all.

did some minor changes since this pic sesh lol, changed the headlight housings to halogen look-a-likes. took off the flaps. changed my back window to the one piece. and new fluids lmao

 

im kinda sketch about the ball joint flip thing. lol and if i do were can i find spacers for the ball joints?

 

yea did um myself my junior year in high school so no job nadden lol

yup!! only thing we gotta worry about is rust lol.

 

trucks looks hella kool! the only thing i say is get the chrome outside edges for your bumper..

 

you mean the 2wd one piece chrome bumper or chome end pieces? never heard of them before unless you talking about the 90's style bumper ends.
