i just bought my first yota last week for about 300. it is an '83 2wd long bed. the bed is pretty messed up. and i was wondering if one of the newer body style beds would bolt up. any help would be nice thanks.

any pics of it? I have seen an 82-83 yota with an 89-95 bed. The bottom didn't line up too well but the rest looked good. 84-88 beds fit perfect but the wheel housing is shaped differently.

no i have to wait for the title to come in the mail because im only 17 and still live with my parents. and my dad wont let it come here untill he can get it insured. but it should be here by friday i believe. so ill have pics then. but how much different are the wheel housings? or could i just get the fenders and weld them on because the rest of the bed is pretty solid for the most part?

you can buy just the sides in fiberglass...or whole thing, go to www.toyotafiberglass.com they have 79-83 and newer you could do almost the entire truck if you had some serious coinage.. all i have ever heard of them has been exceptional quality too, but no first hand experience.
