Got some good news tho. I found out that there is "emergency unemployment money" again, and since I'm only working 20 hrs a week I can still get unemployment.

So I got an early Christmas present. I recieved a couple unemployment checks today, so I finished my shopping and have enough to get a timing chain & gasket, & an alt. WOOHOO!!!

I installed a hidden amplified antenna in my truck yesterday. Works pretty well.

Yeah, I got a Saturn. I miss the Hilux (even though it's still on the driveway), but eventually, I plan on getting another Hilux in either cab or drive, in 84-88 or 89-94. As long as I am on Toyota Minis, I've got to try and find another... Just after the SL2's paid off and got decent rims.

We got dumped on last night! 4" of snow, and has been snowing off & on.

 

so after finally coming to a conclusion on which truck i want as my next vehicle, being a truck, i decided i wanted a chevy colorado... yes i kno its not a toy but hey, im still gonna lower it =D but after discussing all of this with my parents, the sad truth dawned on me. i dnt have the money to afford monthly payments and everything on it, so i guess ill b stuck driving my piece of **** pontiac that i hate with all my heart

 

I know how you feel. Been there, done that! I hate my wife's car.

 

It's decided. We're not gonna buy a 4runner with taxes. Instead, I'm gonna finish the stereo system in the truck & possibly get the billet grilles & a flush mount tonneau cover (if I have enough).

 

how come u decided that? so i saw a 4 door colorado today after a toyota xrunner passed me by. i was like hmm, toyota xrunner is still a yota.... but then i saw the 4 door colorado n yea im still for the colorado... maybe even thro the caddies on that, never seen that b4

 

lol. Well I had my bro-in-law replace the timing chain on my truck recently and he said the motor is great shape for having 180k miles on it, even for being a yota. So I figure we'll have the wife's car looked over and do some things to my truck.
