i have a 94 standard cab pickup 5speed with around 189000 on the entire truck, the 22re is a good motor but im looking for something with more power and performance options. the body is in great shape, only paid 1500 for it with 167000 miles

im in the middle of a LS1 swap to my 95 4x4 jimmy, but im starting to love toyota's and probally will sell it off after i finish it - it's a pretty easy swap

i've heard about swaping supra motors into these pickups but dont know how hard it is to do, i have plenty of time just want to see what i would be getting myself into - does anyone know a full list of things to do to get it in the truck? thanks! also what would be the cheapest way to go?

Here is a site that may help you. The guys on this site are the kings of motor swaps...several have done the same swap your thinking about & if you ask them they will be very helpful. Oh & the threads youll be looking for are under the construction zone section.
