turn your front wheel and take a measurementof the shock length. Toxics make one of the shortest shocks. Rear shocks should be stock length if your dropped with blocks.

the back is a 3 inch steel block and the middle leaf taken out of the pack.

I would rather have all my leafs in and just run 4in blocks. Pulling a leaf just makes it soft in the back. 4in blocks, urathane leaf bushings and some new shocks. You will feel the difference immediately!

I use t100 shocks in the back of my truck, they are about three inches shorter compressed and are a little stiffer, helps w/handling, monomax i had run for for one day, they road like a brick, i took them back and traded them for the white gasadjust. I had a friend that worked for koni and he said the gasadjust had the closest characteristics to a koni shock, which is apparently the best.

ive got a couple questions, would the toxics be good for a truck with cranked torsions? and when i was on stylin trucks earlier they said that they were 30 something each. is that each single shock or each pair of shocks? cuz id be pissed if just one showed up to my house

one shock only buddy, those are cheap mine were 42 each, toxic shocks are designed to be on lowered trucks so they would be a little stiffer than stock.

Toxic shocks are made by Procomp/Explorer. Procomp/Explorer makes shocks for lifted trucks. I bought my toxic shocks from http://www.4wheelparts.com/

Yes they would be good for a truck with cranked torsions. You just need to turn the wheel and take a measurment. Not sure of the length but they make one of the shortest compressed shocks I could find But you need to take a measurment to see what you need.

These are preety solid shocks too.http://www.doetsch-shocks.com/3.asp

Just run the toxic 9.75 eye to eye....it was super cherry on my truck wen I had them with my static drop...u dnt needa worry about the extended length really cuz wen do u plan on fully extending them? Never because its a slammed truck not a baja bug...just run the 9.75's all around...ride will be smooth...

22r for ur drop I would put 4in block and and pull bottom leaf and put bak the middle...ride will be low n smooth...just make sure u put a lo bro bump stop...the bottom leaf dnt do jack crap but help with extra load wen u haul stuff...or jus notch ur frame with a saw zall and run 5inch block with pulled middle leaf.....that's wat I was running b4...was so slammed they thought I was bagged...2in drop spindle the front and torsion the front down nicely and correctly and flip ball joints and you'll be alll set...

Stylin Trucks says the Toxic front shocks are good up to a 3" drop, and the Toxic rear shocks are good up to a 4" drop.

Has anyone had experience with edlebrock shocks?
can they be used with lower'd trucks or are they only for standard height?

i ordered these shocks from stylin trucks, they were the same length as stock shocks and bottomed out. they made a big fuss and argued on the phone. ended up sending them back as they were useless too me, and they kept the shipping fees. guy told me they were the smallest toxics made at 9.5 collapsed when i called back, and the guy i ordered them from told me he would send me 7.5 collapsed. end result, toxic does not have a shock short enough. nitro slammers work though:waytogo:

    Shocks

I am running 69 marrow shocks on the front of my truck, they are a bit shorter (don't know exactly how much) but I have not bottomed them out even with the metal bump stop on the frame cut off (full rubber bump stop still on lower control arm) with steelies and 20's tires hit inner fender before shock bottoms out. Has I dunno, maybe 1/2in or more till shock bottoms.... Sorry for the nonsense blabber it's late and I have to get up at 4am for work
