Damn 3 codes!! 12,21,43

    anyone have some advice what I should check first..check engine light just went on couple days ago..I hooked up the scanner and it said a connection could not be made, so just did the jumper wire and got 3 codes 12(RPM signal) 21(02 sensor circuit) and 43(starter signal circuit)..little help please

    the key should be in the on position but not started, then you run the diagnostic trouble codes, and since you got the codes 12, 21, 43. according to ASE books the code with the least numerical value should be checked first, so check the rpm sig then 02 sensor, then starter.
