Rookie guy with an '81 Trekker

    Hi Guys,
    Found a link to this forum on Pirate in an alternator thread, thought I would check out the site. Looks like it has some great info on.

    I am an old fart, been driving Toyota trucks for 20+ years.
    Started off with an '86 4Runner I bought new. Latest project is an '81 Toyota Trekker...it was a conversion done by Winnebago and Toyota to test the early SUV market...
    DaY I picked it up about 2.5 years ago:

    I get out and wheel everyonce in awhile:

    grenaded one of my transfercase...need to get it back together and back on the road in the next week or so.

    Looking forward to checking out other builds

    I was having a good time:p
    I have a couple of sets of replacement doors, just need to swap one out:D
