Sup , new these forums. Name is Sam and i'm in the process of a build up of this 'ole Yota. Got a cool video of me runnin autocross in it on my introduction thread. http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3963 So I'm gonna be rebuilding a motor for this thing, with an Engbdlr RV head, his biggest cam, and a one of his rebuild kits. i have lots of things in mind, including 10.5-1 pistons, a limited slip, 5 speed, and major chassis work. Heres some pics so far of what i got goin on. Just picked up those rims w/ tires for 70 bucks! Weber 38, and that beastly motor has 1/3 million miles on it haha Gimme some input! i will be back updating you guys and asking lots of questions!
Any tips from you guys on how to make this thing handle? i wanna lower it, but with those wheels i got i dunno how low i can go considering the rear tires sticks out the fender well. what is recommended for dropping the front? spindles? control arms?
For one, flip your ball joints. http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3217 Then you can add control arms or spindles. If you think you might bag it some day then I'd go with spindles as the stock control arms can be adapted to work with bags pretty easily. Super clean truck you have there by the way!
drop spindles since you want it to have handling and drop shocks, and for the back use drop leafs and put a sway bar (yes there have bolt on applications for these trucks), and those tires are a bit heavy and skinny, i i was you id go with 15x8 with a not so nasty negative offset, light rims like weld supersingles, or centerline draglights, will definately put you above the rest!
btw since your gonna be racing your truck this style, do not stag fit your wheels, for example 15x8's in the back and 15x4's(runners) in the front, just to remind you,
Great driving for keeping your truck on track pal! Nice set of wheels for 70 bucks great bargain really looks good on minis toyota truck parts
. Drop spindals, drop leafs, front a rear sway bars with some good shocks. You will get about a 2inch drop in the front and 3inch drop in the rear. You can turn the t bars to level it out in the front if need. Wheel and tires are up to you but agree with what the last person said. I have all the above done and my truck handles great. No roll and on ramps are a blast.
Many gaming apps online look attractive at first but later become frustrating because of repeated lag problems and slow response times during regular browsing sessions from mobile devices online. Yesterday evening I spent quite some time checking different sections and testing how smoothly everything works while relaxing comfortably at home. Thankfully, BDG Win stayed stable throughout the session and even after longer usage the overall experience still felt better compared to several similar apps I have tried recently online.
