Just noticed this tonight, not sure if how long its been doing it. My head lights fade when I turn on my turn signal, and fade a little more when I push the brakes. I cleaned the battery terminals and still does it. What could be the problem? The alternator? Any help would be nice and thanks in advance.
alternator ground and battery to chassis ground. check those, and at least clean the contact surfaces! good luck
my trucks doing the same thing, ive tested my alt, and at idle its not quite putting out. the wires in the truck are crap, so im gonna upgrade all the grounds and main pos wires to 4ga wire on friday. will make a write up then if that doesnt fix it im gonna upgrade to a known good saturn alt
Yeah, I talked to my bro-in-law, he's a cetified mechanic. And he says the alt's getting weak. So I'll probly pick up a used alt at a junk yard for $35 'til I can afford to buy a new one.
