I payed a guy from yotascene on Christmas day last year and he has yet to provide anything other than false promises. I'm an easy going guy, but this is ridiculous. He has lots of excuses, and I'll give him benefit of the doubt that they are true, but if not one-day he'll have to answer to someone.... What most pisses me off if that one mini-trucker could do this to another. In my experiences we're much like a family and everyone helps everyone around here. He says I'll have them in the next two weeks, so we'll see.
They've been installed for a while, they're just out while I do the bodydrop. I'll shoot some pics when I put them back in.
What does everyone do with the strut rod mounts on the front when doing a bodydrop? I cut mine off about where I cut the frame and was going to weld a bar across but the coolant hose is in the same place as the strut rod mount on the driver side.
most seem to do what i call the seth mod, and add a peg leg onto the lowers to triangulate them. and just make a bracket to mount to that front point. makes an I arm an A arm basically.
Hey look what I found on yourscenemag.com http://yourscenemag.com/coverage/2009/scrapin-the-coast-2009/html/165.htm
my v8 yoda Here's some pics of my v8 yoda. I bought it with the conversion done but thought the pics would help with brackets and stuff
Pics are always helpful. That drivetrain must be hanging down pretty low huh? What trans are you running? -Ryan
whats up CajunTaco! I'm living not to far down the road from you. Give me some feed back on the wheels and tires and spacers, any info would be great. I am looking to put some wheels on my sons 93', looks like same color.
Update; I had some problems and had to put it on hold, but I'm back on it. It's so close to running I can smell the exhaust fumes! Ahhh.... These first few are from Siknic 2009. The Black GMC is my Towpig, aka TardKart. Its bagged on 22's and lays frame. These are from fitting the radiator and accesories. Alternator is super low, nice and clean. Gonna make some ba trim panels to cover/accentuate the engine. Can't wait to get this puppy running!! -Ryan
I've4 already confirmed it will run. Here's some evidence. The first time we started it I had poured to much gas into the intake and fireballs came out the heads. AWESOME http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZX92-0zmM8 I need to get 2 12" fans, a fuel filter, 1 radiator hose, install fuel pump, press regulator, filter, put water/coolant in it and go. Pretty damn close to running. Then comes replumbing all the air lines, installing valves, carpet, center console, recovering seats...etc. -Ryan
