Has anyone properly slammed one of these trucks? I have one and i have lowered it somewhat but i havent done it properly and i want to fix that ( as well as go lower on bags ). I know abou the one on Minitruckin.com and was thinking about emailing them and getting the blueprints and what not from them to do to my truck. But i wanted to see how you guys did yours.
lets see some pics and or blue prints. Please.

Heres mine ( dont ask me how i lowered it, you dont wanna know)

Those mirrors and turn signals are awesome. I think your mirrors might be ranked as sergeant if im not mistaken :D

Hows the suspension set-up? Is it different from the standard leaf spring in the rear and torsion up front? or does it have coilovers?

looks like 3-4in blocks and cut springs up front, thats how i did mine :D

truck has leafs and dual A arms w/coil springs, and a celica type worm gear steering box and 3 link tie rod.

check out swapmeet's build, thats prolly the one from mini truckin you've been drooling over. it is so filthy that no soap out there could make it cleaner.

You're right about the blocks in the rear but i also got the leafs de-arched. youre wrong about the front though.
Front has no springs/shocks , has small bump stops. Control arms have been cut , bent and rewelded to correct camber.
Its a rough ride but i was younger when i did this so i didnt care about how rough the ride was.

Haha thanks. I thought i was going to get laughed at for that lack of suspension but hey it worked for a while.

Its pretty much solid in the rear too because the axle is right up against the frame too

Looks like a nice truck to start with. I'll be watching for progress.

your suspension is almost the same in the back as my 78. and my 78 is just as low in the nose if not more, and its all coil. no arm work. just inner fender clearancing.
