parking costs $80 and i avoided parking lot b/c of bad drivers and door dings.... Yeah, definitely checking for red paint and scuffs. i got tow straps and a jack, i can deliver damage easily. man i love my tail gate... might go for smooth skin gate? sigh parents didnt really say much....
haha, Never mess with people that really care about there cars/trucks like we do. wether its worth money or not. We'll come after you Sucks though, I agree with nvrenufedge and cmcpher though. Do some investigation, luckily tailgates are cheap and replacable.

that sucks nam... my sister and little bro where sitting in her truck in a parking lot. a old lady backed into it scratching the paint pretty good. they got the plate, make and model of the car, and what the lady looked like. they called the police and they never even showed up..... tailskin would be sweet! and give you some more welding practice!!
hmm, sorry to say but its a door ding, not a hit and run. It happened in a parking lot, theres nothing you can do about that.. if you saw it happen and stopped the person it would be different. Also why would you take revenge on someone who had an accident ? possibly the kid doesnt know he hit you ? I hit a parked car once in my titan and didnt know I hit anything till the person got out of the car and was like hey you hit me !... but by your reasoning, if your server brings you the wrong meal, you sit the remainder of your dinner thinking of ways to get back at him ??? Not bashing on you man, sorry to hear that cuz it sucks.. both of my trucks are victims of dings all around, this world is not perfect neither are my trucks.. also sucks parking is 80 bucks ? only $5 per hang tag at my school... oh yeah, dont go making any police reports if you havent got your license yet, I dont remember seeing any posts of you finally getting one
also a sad story... but Police do NOT come to write reports for "hit and runs" in parking lots. they are private property and if the place has cameras, great you might have a 1 in 1,000,000 chance finding the "suspect". If no camera, your chances go back to none. Its too much of a lost cause for police to spend time writing reports for a ding that they will never find the culprit to, but they will write reports on the phone.. the lady at the desk needs to keep her job too.
wrong "school" parking lot = public property not that it matters anyways, it's still leaving the scene of an accident which does not matter where it occurs. Take a tape measure and measure the height of your dent (with the ground in view and the measuring tape height). Now find the D.B that hit you and do the same. Viola easy proof. Then file a police report and file a claim with his insurance or file a smalls claim report. If you notice the giant primer spot on my rear pass bed (in my build thread) that's from a hit and run........bastards.
I guess I was wrong, but so are you lol. This is high school if you are not aware. Which would make it county property. Not trying to sound like a jerk or anything but either way when you get hit in a parking lot 99% of the time your screwed.
Well then what I'd do (cause each state or county is different) is check into the laws of vehicle accidents in parking lots.
looked at lex's bumper, lower than area by a bit but missing paint chips... thought it over and tailgate skin will be my plan... soo i was still upset, took yellow electrical tape, made a face on my truck. PC is still dead... anyway, still gunna keep eye out.
