As some of you know I bought an older Corolla a few months back and was going to use it as my winter beater. After getting it road worthy, I decided to flip it since I live out of the city a little ways and this thing was starting to rev too much do the speed limit. I made a few extra bucks on the deal so it worked out well. Anyway, I found my new winter beater, or should I say beaters? I picked these up today for $800 for the pair. One is a 87 and the other is a 88. Both run and drive, 4x4 works well, although the 88 has a little toe out issue. LOL. I'm going to make one good truck out of the two and keep the other for a parts truck. I'm pretty pumped! Here's the pics! I may do a build thread once I start ripping into them.
Are you talking about the bed on the blue one? I thought that was a US only bed? I know both trucks were produced in Japan by the VIN. Do you want some close ups of the blue one where it was hit? When it got hit, they must've caught the front tire too because the aluminum rim has been replaced and the truck has something bent that gives it a pretty bad toe out. I'll have to take a closer when I have some time next week.
