I've got a couple questions for you guys
I'm going to change my filter and fluid tomorrow or thursday, and have a few questions

    1) How do I fill this guy?
    2) How much, and what type of fluid will I need?
    3) Should I RTV any of the gaskets when installing them?
    4) Anything else to take note of?

    Thanks!

removing the pan for maintance only removes 30% of the trans fluid, you dont need silicone to get the pan to seal, just dont over tighten the bolts, and the trans fluid is regular dextron mercon trans fluid, filling is done through the dip stick tube with a funnel, measure what you removed when removing the pan, to completely remove all of the old fluid it needs a trans flush.

sometimes it loosens up deposits but they dont all get out, then you have floating crap in your trans and sooner or later it may go.

when i pull my motor this month im going to drain the trans and torque converter and refill then do a few more on down the road
