That alternator they used in the MT write up would rob a lot of horse power from your little four banger. I would go with something like a stock chevy alternator. I am running one on my '79. It has a 50,000 volt ignition and the stock Toyota alternator wasnt keeping up a charge at idle. The Chevy alternator made the headlights noticably brighter and took care of my charging problems. Alternators are not just powerhouses spinning freely generating power. Every dded amp robs more power. Use only as high of amps as you need. Also the stock Chevy alternator I used was almost a bolt in (had to make a really simple bracket up) and cost under $100. Plus it's a super simple one wire hook up. I can try to track down a part number for you if you want.

Well yeah, I think that is the same housing, so it could be made to work I think, but mine had a single groove pulley and looked like these but not in chrome:

If you need the serpentine pulley then this one would be nice and seems like a good value:

The bracket I made is really simple. I will get a pic of it tomorrow. It is just an offset tab for the pivot bolt. The adjustment slot is still the original Toyota bracket.

That looks like a great deal really! I am a little dubious, I mean it just seems too good to be true, but if it is really a 130 amp alternator that will bolt right up then that is the way to go.

That looks a thousand times better than the bracket I am running, but it might be over kill. Sorry I haven't got the pic up yet. I worked until dark doing a brake job for someone after I got off work. It's probably going to have to be tomorrow now.
