Fuel filter

    Okay guys where is the fuel filter located and what tools do I need to change it? Thanks

    if its a 22re...its under the intake manifold. You need a couple of wrenches and you need alot of PATIENCE....

    Best way to get to it is go from under the truck too!!

    In mine it was located by the rear right tire tucked up in the frame rails next to the tank. PITA

    on a 4wd its easy, only took me a few mins.
    i used:17mm wrench (for the front banjo bolt)
    17mm std 1/2" drive socket (for rear banjo)
    12mm std 3/8" drive socket with 3" ext for top mount bolt
    12mm std 3/8" drive socket with a 3" and 9" (iirc) ext for bottom

    steps: turn the wheels left
    remove access panel on pass side inner fender
    remove fuel filter (bolted to engine block, just in front of and above starter) by removing front banjo bolt from the side and then the rear thru top of engine bay, then unbolting it.
    install filter using new crush washers
