Ok so I have a 88 p/u which I have asked for help more times then I can count. But I just wanted to thank everybody on here for help on beautifying my ride. But the real reason I'm posting is I had to post the deals I found today. So lets start from the beginning, well started out that my rear brakes weren't working because of my proportioning valve so I call my local Toyota dealer and since I work at a Dodge dealership he quoted me a dealers price which was 175.56. So you can imagine that I hung up quickly. So I drive out to the local pull a parts and found the part took it off and only paid 8.62 talk about a deal. So since I had plenty money left I went out and found two very nice 4 runner bucket seats a chrome 4 runner grill and chrome bumper. The seats were 15 a peice the grill was 30 and the bumper was 25 bucks. Just had to tell somebody
ive never done it, but ive seen it done many times with the 88 style lights. it looks pretty good actually.
Picking up parts from salvage yards is definitely a way to save some serious cash. I've fixed up a few cars (Volvo's, vwVW's, and a few Toyota's)with the help of our local auto recycling yards. Wheels, engines, transmissions, body panels, seats, hard to find interior pieces... its all out there
Yes the 89-95 grille will fit between the marker lights but you need to be creative when installing the grille because it doesnt just bolt or clip in.
