    its possible...but not easy.

It is an issue all of us celica supra guys run into.
Get on www.celicasupra.com and search around there for a 5 lug conversion and you will find out what is required.

just do the swap and run some mustang 4 lug rears with 5 lug fronts. it'd be cool.

nvm, the mustang 4 lug was a different pattern. but might still be able to find wheels you like in both patterns.

It probably wouldnt be hard to find the 4x114.3 pattern to fit in the back of the truck.

But it is hard to find wheels in that pattern with the correct offset for a supra.

but I think you would be better off trying to do the IRS out of a 3rd gen supra which is already 5 lug...

well with that wider track into a truck, it would probably be a pretty normal truck offset. how wide is the 2nd gen setup? dont say more than 53" haha. and the 3rd gens are wide as hell, he would have to narrow it all to be able to fit.

sweet. i want a way to get my 78 lower in the back without a hole in the bed. im already less than an inch from the axle/frame. 3rd member only has a couple inches. i can run a shorter rear tire to clear the tubs. so an independant would be a nice setup. i really doubt its narrow than my axle though. even the AE86s are wider. TE72s too. all the 4 lug solid axles ive found are, so the supra irs probably is as well.

The 82 IRS will not be a LSD unit. But that is no biggie. Converting the rear to 5 lug will cost 500.00 at best and probably over 1000.00. Some of the parts required are getting rare and hard to find and they were never offered here in the states. I have converted a couple and always keep my eyes open for the parts overseas. The parts are not showing up very often anymore. It would be easier to convert the front of your truck to 4 lug. Remember the Supra is a hubcentric wheel also.
