im trying figure out the best way to get to my fuel filter. i know where its located. under the intake mounted to the block. just need to know what some of you do to get to it. i havent tried yet, but i know its going to be a pita.

 

the "easiest" way to get to it is to take out the starter and attack from the bottom...I should really relocate mine some day.Its a pita no matter what

 

I always go in from the top, but I also don't have huge arms, I guess thats an advantage in some ways, lol. No doubt Toyota could've done something better than that

 

Pull the passenger wheel off, then easy access!!

 

cut out your wheel well.

 

sweet looks like i am going to have my hands full. so i take it that the best way is going to be through the passenger wheel well. how would i go about moving the fuel filter? just move lines to the frame? thanks guys.

The fittings on each side of the filter are the banjo type, & metric ,moving the filter may not be possible. You can't just cut the line & move it!
