Hi everyone, I am looking at a 93 toyota pickup for sale locally. the owner wanted 1300 for it and i talked him down to 1000, but i havent bought it yet. The steering feels extremely heavy, and the body has some rust, so does the frame a slight amount, and nothing has been replaced on the truck since he bought it in 1993. The truck has 265,000 miles it, how much life can i really expect out of this truck, and is this even a fair price for the vehicle?

How bad is the rust? Does it shift good? Are you wanting to start redoing stuff or are you looking for a truck you don't have to do much to?

The rust has gotten the bottom of the drivers side door, some spots on the body of the bed, and the hood is chipped and rusting some. The rust on the frame rails is about 6in across on both sides right about where the cab meets the bed, when it rusted out the center exhaust bracket went with it. they are both patchable.

I am looking for a DD for now that is capable of hauling my motorcycle short distances, although i will not likely use it for such a purpose. Just something to get me to school and back when it is cold and snowy and i can't ride a sportbike.

How much repair do you guys think i'm in for with this truck, and how many miles do you think it'll give me.?

    No PS, and no AC:eyecrazy:
