are you running a short ass front tire? there is no way i can hit my arm to the frame unless i roll on a rim. and i beat the hell out of my inner fenders. or do you mean it hits the bumpstop? a notch seems to be very needed for these trucks out back. i plan to make it actually have a length of square tube on top the rail under the bed so i can go taller into the frame. ill probably never be happy with it until i dig into the bed floor. lol.

damn. in the outer skin or inside the bed? i can give you tips on getting bedside dings out. i took a bunch out. i also had a big nitrogen bottle come loose and make a few big ones in the side. i used a baseball bat and a chunk of steel block. used the end of the bat as a soft hammer to tap them down. worked pretty good.

cool. my 92 was like that. they drilled tons of holes all over. i think it probably had like 9 different canopys half assed onto it over the years. i got it with one on it. funny story, i sold it on craigslist without the clamps...cuz i wanted to keep them lol. and some mexicans came and bought it, they had one hop in the back to hold it down for the drive home. i dont know how i didnt see it in the road at the corner.

what do you mean you blew the shocks? mine were awesome for a while but softened up as the broke in if thats what you mean. if they are leaking or messed up id take em back and get fresh ones.

have you clearanced the inner fenders yet? atleast hammer that pinch weld flange flat and take out any bolts aiming in from the engine bay or floorboards. then measure how much space you have from the top of the tire to the fender. and compare that to the arm and the spring cup. i say ditch the bump stops all together. when you cut a spring it gets bouncy-er. i had alot of little reworking on mine til it all stopped rubbing and being terrible. i think since i have the narrow stock wheels ill put my sway bar back in today.

Take the bottom bump stop off and trim the top one.
It works pretty well that way. Im not sure why so many guys dont run any bump stops, I dont like metal to metal.

Did you cut your springs? or heat them?
If you cut them how many coils did you cut?

thats why i took my sway bar off. i plan to trim the edge of the spring cup down so it has clearance. mine was sitting on it hard though. i took about 3-1/2 turns off the coil
