I am getting ready to bag my 90 model. I really want to lay frame on 20's. Other than moving the master cylinders what other problems could I face?
Ride comfort and handling will go out the window. Put some low profile tires and make sure they're super wide. Yeah! out the window.
I wouldn't even think about running stock arms. Just go ahead and buy some can do arms and be done with that portion. It's 700 thats well spent IMO. Pocket the frame like he does and your ride quality won't go out the window and neither will your turning. It's all in the set up. By pushing the bags into the frame your going to lower your ride height pressure, so you get a softer ride. Your going to have to tub the firewall and move the master.
Thanks a lot bro. I didn't even know that can do had arms for my truck. The truck is not gunna be a dd so do you think I could run the stock arms until I get the cash for some can do's?
You can use the stock arms for now...look on www.yotascene.com or www.streetsourcemag.com for details & pics on how to do it. Also..Seth at www.twistedminis.com & Mike at www.dallashotrodparts.com makes Toyota control arms as well too.
i got stock arms, and spindles.... im gonna get sum arms when i get the money... but you can deff use th stock arms. and you r ride and handling is probably gonna be better than stock... i got 555 extremes and it drives like its on rails
based on DHP's rep alone (or atleast the guy behind that name) I wouldn't look anywhere past twisted or cando.
