oh, I talked to my old manager from Aspen Sound today. He has his own home theatre and a little low voltage install company. He might be able to hire me on in a month or 2. Just sucks I might have to wait that long but its something. Hes waitin on some bigger jobs.

hey dave i was just thinking...i want to get rid of the mirrors on my doors & replace them with 4runner mirrors. Kinda like the ones you have...its an easy swap right? i would just have to drill the holes for the new mirrors right?

Yeah, the holes are already there on the inside. You just have to drill the holes on the outside.

The 4runner mirrors are a little bigger than mine

I already have 3 1/2 years experience in low voltage, but I've always wanted to do more in custom home theatre.

You just have to look out for the right base of the mirror. Some of 'em won't fit unless you have stock sail panel mirrors. I'll see if i can find a pic of 'em. If not I'll pull a mirror off tomorrow to show you.

well...... since my wife has become an RN i have been pretty much part time (3 days a week). since work was slow they were only giving 4 days a week to everyone. work is picking up finally and they told me i needed to go back to 5 days a week, but with my wifes schedule it just isn't going to work. i had a meeting today, and they told me that, i told them i couldn't do it, and if they need to make the decision to fire me. it was great man! they looked shocked when i told them that! they said they were gunna talk to another dept. (HR i'd imagine) and get back to me. i patiently waited for them but they kept avoiding me.

either way, i don't really care. if i quit, then i can do a few body drops i've been holding off on cuz i didn't have the time to devote to them. and my wife makes more than enough to get by.
