i'd imagine it goes to the fuse box then the tach.

check by any connections, or where it passes thru sheetmetal. thats usually where it happens.

 

rajah. when i changed it the first time, it worked again, then i drove down the street and it blew again. not even 3 mins from home. ****ty deals. thanks for all the advice though.

bernie need your help again. so i changed the fuse and it blew. Checked the coil, found the +/-, everythings good there. From there its loomed into the cab. A short piece thats not touching any metal, then its loomed again into a bunch of wires. Looks like ill have to pop panels and look behind the tach.
On a side note, i removed the center part where the deck goes, and under the steering column and now my deck wont turn on, the clock doesnt work, and my door doesnt do that irrtating beep when the key is in the ignition. Any idea whats going on with that?

 

oh one more thing.

When i changed the fuse, as it was in acc, right before i start my truck i see the guages jump but thats about it. Im guessing thats when the fuse blows.

 

yea me too. i feel like a dick tho, cuz the majority of it is cuz were all stubborn, me and my mom n my lil bro knows how to push my buttons so i dnt even talk to noone right now. i come home n lock myself in my room... like my mom had to ask me via email wut i wanted to do for my bday... i kinda felt like a dick cuz of that, but
