It's interesting how much peoples personal tastes vary. I personally have always liked the look of the 89-95s while I am not as enthused about the 84-88 model. To each his own. There are so many little aspects in which personal customization choices come into play during the build of a truck. I like all the variety. You need all types or you wouldn't know what you liked. Or in the words of Beavis and Butthead, "If everything was cool, how would we know what sucked?"
Thanks, man! I like both 84-88 and 89-95. I don't like the bed that has the hooks on the outside on the 84-88, tho. I was looking for both when I was lookin for a truck, just leaning more towards the 89-95 style cause I had a 93 back in 95-96 and never finished it.
i saw my dad today, i didnt pick up the second shift today cuz i wanted to see him since i couldnt go over for the weekend so i got out there n he likeded my dubs haha but yea the ****er got tatted up some more, jeez hes runnin outta room, he better save a spot so me n him can get tatted together!
as for the body style of the trucks, ive always like **** thats real defined, thats always how i been, but id put a smooth bed on the 2nd gen truck... oh n i found out that my great grandpa used to drive a 2nd gen toyota haha, man it was my destiny to drive a toy haha
thats cool, yea i wasnt gonna let my dad not see me, he hardly sees me as it is. we arent the closest but for some reason i regain my sanity around him. but he loved my dubs haha
Nice! We went to church (cause I promised my wife I would go), then I sat at home & played Madden 08 on ps2 (cause thats what I wanted to do). The whole day felt wierd, tho. Its the first father's day without my dad.
he passed away this last year? for me it felt weird becuz i feel so differently of who i am this year than every other year
my sisters boyfriend finally proposed i'm pretty stoked! he was actually her first boyfriend, but after several years (during which my sister had a kid with a complete scum bag) they hooked back up. i like the guy, he accepts my neice as his own. since we don't talk to our father, she asked if i would give her away at the wedding. can't wait! i love wearing a tux
haha congrats bernie! good for ur sister, sounds like shes found a good guy dave, hey we all lose the ones we love sooner or later, in one way or another, its how we take wut we learned from spending time with them n apply them to our lives that shows them they helped us in some way or another
I'm sorry to hear that. Man that's gotta be hard. It's been about 4 years since I talked to my dad, but I still don't know how I would deal with that... We never really got along though. At least not since high school. He was always like "It's my way or the highway!" His way sucked so at fifteen I left home. I am glad I got into metal work or who knows where I would be... I shoulda got my dad a swift kick in the @ss for fathers day.
u guys split up? thats odd yea i kno how that feels, i wasnt even talkin to my dad for a few months, didnt care either... but now we squashed it, so it is wut it is
kinda sounds like my dad! his famous saying was " i pay the bills around here, i know i'm right". even if he said the sky was green and you told him it was blue he'd pull that ****. he kicked my sister out cuz she proved him wrong.
Thanks, its cool now. My parents got divorced when I was 4 and I didn't see my dad from the age of 7 to 17, then again from 18 or 19 to 23. So I know how that is. Yea, we got divorced back Dec. of '07. Worked things out and got remarried this past Feb.
bernie, haha i tried posting around on other forums n i end up only on here, go figure? wut makes u think i can leave my home? haha
