Hello all.. my name is Clint..i'm from Bakersfield, CA and i drive a 91 Yota STD.. originally i had been into Hondas, but theft kinda steered me away from them for a while.. my 94 hatchback was stolen and stripped.. and of course insurance companies dont give you crap for your car..

so i went and picked up the 91 Toyota pickup i'm in today.. has 178k on it and it cost $2100 .. i plan on cleaning up the body.. and putting a 4wd front end on it and add a couple engine mods (intake, header, exhaust, TRD cam).. it needs a new bench seat.. possible buckets .. it runs really good still for the miles.. hell, its only like half its engine life..

    anyways, here are the pics

once i get a house and have some room for projects i plan on buying another CRX and starting a track car project..

Truck looks good!Just a word,if you go deep into a build( any ) get custom insurance. That is insure for a  stated value, through a company that insures customs, hot rods, ect.
You can never replace your build, but you will get what you have invested!!

    Welcome !

Welcome aboard ! Looks like a nice clean, straight pallet to start whatever plans / projects that you may have for it ! As with many Toyota pickup buildups, everything that you do to it makes it very unique to yourself and your personality ! These rides are very reliable and hold their value very well ! Once you get started its hard to stop Ive found ! Looking forward to seeing your progress and joining you in the forums !
