Pretty much none. Only pieces i found were 2 pieces of some kinda insulation thing on the roof, some foam stuff in the kick panel by the ECU, and more of that foam in my x cab sidewall under that sotrage box thing. Those are the only ones i found tearing apart my truck

My truck actually didnt rattle at all before I stuck my subwoofer in the storage compartment. Now I am not sure if it is only cause the compartment isn't sealed 100% or simply cause the sub is in there.

You're forgetting the carpet/vinyl. You wouldn't think it would do much until you ride in a truck you're just pulled it out of.

just covering the firewall and floor will cut roadnoise considerably.

Yeah it fits back in. Its only a few mils thick. I put 2 layers plus carpet padding and mines still fit back in. However, be warned. The headliner is vinyl and will strech when you take it out. I put mines back in today and a few areas are all streched out so i have to figure out what to do

My head liner is so nice... I don't want to ruin :(

I had a blazer that had a liner that was sagging so I ripped the whole thing out. (Truck had thumb tacks holding it up when I bought it). Once I ripped it out the truck would be scorching inside after sitting.

There's a spray-on thermal barrier product my uncle used on his truck. It was designed for firewalls but he did his whole cab in it. It kept it much cooler. I'll try to find the product name. The EPA probably banned it because it works, though.

Put it this way, anything is better than nothing. Stock, hardly anything is there and these cabs can make hella noise and heat/cold go back and forth, so if your serious, do it within a budget and youll never think back except to remember how much further youve come . . .

Theres other things out there besides deadener that work just as well. Depends on how "ghetto" or "extreme" you want to get though.
Can use construction grade a/c insulation
    Expanding foam
    Seat cusion foam/padding
    Bed foam/padding
    Various deadeners

Depends on which route you want to go. I went with a mix of carpet padding and fatmatt(1 layer fatmatt) and my roof is just as dead as my friend that used just Fatmatt/damplifer pro. Theres another friend i have that used peg board and expanding foam to do his roof, and its dead to the world. These cases are from my friends that are into car audio though, so i guess it also depends on what your trying to accomplish as well

He used MDF on the largest parts, and then screwed the pegboard into it and filled all the smaller parts. Its not completely expanding foam, although i dont see why you couldnt use just pegboard and expanding foam, as long as theres something to hold the pegboard up/screw into.

Ill see my friend on sunday, ill see if i can snap a few pics for you. He went hardcore though and siliconed his windows shut, the whole 9
