Recently picked these up, decided to get creative since I was in no hurry to put them on anything, cleaned, painted, rebuilt, added a little color to my carbs, now gotta decide what to do with em [/IMG]
Turn it into a BONG! ........ Too expensive to fill and hard to hold 4 lighters at once do i see a dual sidedraft supercharger in your future?
........ Good idea, but HELL NO!!!! the supercharger runs just fine as is I had an idea involving an EFI intake, but doubt I'll go there with it, maybe my old 77 2wd daily might appreciate them along with the LCE stage 2 cam I have hanging around, but do i really want to go there Already have a dual carbed setup on my 76, decisions decisions !!
Thanks John, I,m just a sucker for 20/22R performance parts, How goes the green machine build? haven't heard any news for a while. Still have my other 77 project, just need to get remotivated .
Got tons of parts and loads of get er done, but, I looking for extra energy with just buying a house, starting a small local club, working on my 87', LOL, holy cow Ive gotz excuses. I leaning towards all satin green and the old retro raked looked, but, progress is slowed up for now . . . You going to try and make it to the preist River Idaho show I posted ? That would be killer to finally meet you, Im bringing my 87', next year, Ive got 3 shows in mind, what sucks is, up in these neck of the woods we dont have very much and a lowrider or bagged truck is frowned upon, but, I love the looks and constantly get asked questions about both of my babies ( trucks ). Your truck, I have to keep myself from drooling on it, most likely a bib would help . . .
Good luck with your old school build John, look forward to seeing progress pictures. The show sounds fun, never know, I might get a crazy notion and do a road trip have done them before. I,ve done a couple shows so far this year, always fun participating.
I,m east of Portland in The Dalles, Thanks, glad you like the carbs, still thinkin they should go on my old 77 just for kicks
