ground wire

    ok trying to put my truck together to get running i need to know where the ground wires go i have that goes from the battery to where??? i dont know and i have a seperate that is with the one from the batter one end on each side does it go to the engine than frame or what??? i need help hope to have it running by tomorrow but its just not going together i am very frustrated :brickknock:
    any help would be very greatly appreciative also if you have pics of how yours is that would be great too please help!!!!!

    the stock neg goes to the chassis from the factory. then theres 10ga wires connecting the chassis to everything else. ususally 2 or 3 grounds to the motor/frame)


    i like to run 2 leads off the neg terminal, to chassis, and frame. then i have jumper wires going from the chassis/frame to motor in all the stock locations. i used 4ga wire for all my grounds.



    that was dollar for dollar the best upgrade i ever did.

    Couldnt agree more, great advice! A good ground is essential for any electrical system. I also prefer to use good platinum or gold connectors, i got mine from stinger, just plated stuff of course, not solid. They can range anywhere from 6$ on up. . . Stock the ground runs to the passenger firewall in front of the fusebox and then one from the frame on the passenger side by the a - arm to the block . . .
