    well, i'm addicted to searching for projects on craigslist.... and my wife supports my habits. so here is my 5th yota.

    79 shortbed. 20r, auto, a/c. here are some pics from the craigslist add, i'll post some more when i get it home. paid $500 for it, and had an offer for $1000 already.

    Damn! My wife supports my habit but won't let me get more than 2 vehicles. So its gonna be a 4Runner.

    how many yotas you got? i'm hoping to just drive it, but to be honest i'm already thinking about lowering it a couple inches.

    thats were i'm lucky! she supports it and funds it!

    plan on redoing the collection a bit to include a stout and a crown.


    hope to have both by the end of the summer.







    i think you should wax it, drop it and put some cheap mustang 17's on and rock it as a daily.

    i wouldn't mind a stout either. i also want the first gen hilux and a 89-95.

    its decent. there are some dents very similiar to seths 80 in the right rear. he had posted it for more a while back and the price has been dropping. but it leveled off at $500 so it was time to move in....

    Nice find man! My wife is supportive too... 90 4runner, 94 pickup (a.k.a. Lil Red), a 1966 and a 1957 vw bug from another habit. :D

    well i drove her home today. got to the guys house, and after tweaking the carb, and adjusting the timing she was ready to roll. still has a sputter on take off, i'm thinking the accelerator pump is bad. i also noticed it has a new exhaust system from the muffler back, and found the reciept for $135. tire reciept for $220, along with all the tune up stuff he had done.

    the bad part of the ride home was the top speed of 71mph. i'm thinkin a 5 speed from a celica is in it's future.

    would take pics but after the dog got a hold of the camera it doesn't work, and it was too dark for cell pics......

    :lol: after all that, the dog got the camera. that sucks!

    Not as bad as my dog got a hold of the Limited Edition Nintendo DS I bought my wife for x-mas. Now that sucked!
