in my sig the p/o said he cranked the torsens and used 3 inch aluminum rear blocks truck is riding on centerline 18s with 215/35/18s, i have 5 225/40/18s in storage though
the brand is somthing like Cormisson somthing like that, i got it for $300 with brand new tires but i sold them for $800 after couple months.
Tyme Fo Play we have the exact same truck except mine has smoker windows and my paint is way crappy from sitting in a field. I asked a guy I know about painting it over and he said 2 grand so I'm trying to find a painter for a reasonable price. Sick truck I'm trying to find that bumper and valiance combo also.
hi guys, i just recently picked up an 81 2wd short bed as a hauler. ive owned several older bmw's and vw's. of course the enthusiast in me cant leave my new truck alone. id like to drop it on 16" wheels with an aggressive offset (some poke). id like to bring some euro flair to my japanese friend. i dont want to go super low, but id like my fenders to be no more than an 1" from the tire. i would also like to retain the functionality of the truck. it looks like drop spindles and torsion adjustment will get me this in the front. am i missing anything? im sure i am. as far as the rear, people are recommending drop leafs over drop blocks. if i get the leafs then blocks arent needed correct? id also assume i would need some sort of drop air/gas shock. going back to ET the rear probably needs to be zero or negative to achieve a similiar poke to the front correct? remember i am completely new to yotas, but i love mine already! thanks in advance. also, where can i buy all these parts?? p.s.-i know this is in the wrong subforum, but there doesnt seem to be much activity going on in pre 84
tiny weenee wheels 15s with 50 series tires, looking for a 2" or more drop spindle so i can put 18" wheels
thanks man, ey i'm planning to bag my truck... since my engine is has an extra power, whats the best rear suspension setup? for Drag strip and Circuit maybe? my friend told me to go triangulated and couple of control bars??? need infos and PICTURES OR LINKS WILL BE OF GREAT HELP
best strongest way to do yours would likely be FULL 4-link setup. ill rally up some pictures i have in my files later tonight and post em. i was gonna go bagged at one point but decided to stay REAL low static
a lady at work has a drag blazer. she runs a 4link with shockwaves. i thought it would be cool to use shockwaves with a quick release so you could swap in coil overs.
I think I'm gonna do the same, be different. I'm at a 2/3 right now. Gonna wait 'til I get some wheels, then I'll go lower.
im also bringin back the "raked" look back too...... ever since i did my drop to slant the nose down, people have been digging that too its an era i should have been a part of cus i love this mini truckin stuff allot!
