Thanks for the clarification. I never really considered the 4x4's to be mini's, but he may have. I'd love to have an '85 4x4 with the 22re. Only year to come with straight axle and fule enjektion!
first yota. but mot first mini. had a 94 dropped ranger, a 92 bagged gmc jimmy, and a 98 jeep wrangler before the truck i have now. i dont plan on getting rid of this truck. it was my granddad's while he was alive, and i will build it up as a memorial to him and pow's/mia's.

Hmm . . . I have owned . . . a 1984 Toyota pickup 4 x 4, solid axle, 6" lift ( all suspension ), standard cab, 22R with 424,387 miles on it when it died, by far the best truck I ever owned ! My current 1987 Toyota 2wd with currently 117,436 miles on it and lots more to do ! I also, have a 1984 Toyota pickup ext cab, ( project rig ), no bed or frame from 12" back of cab, scheming ideals in head or might part out, its all there except drivetrain/engine/tranny ! Hardly a list to compare to some of you others, but, like we all know, these vehicles can far outlast ANY other with proper maintenance ! ( My favorite generation - 5th generation Toyota pickups 2 or 4 wheel drive, but also, have it in my heart for ALL the rest ! 1986 Toyota pickup - lowered w/custom paint and wheels 2003 Toyota Corolla - 2.25" pipe from resonator back (no muffler), drop springs, ram-air, blackout grille, debadged back with smoothed over back trim, 1993 Toyota Pickup - Soon to be DD, rebuilding 22RE w/4spd, blocks for 2/3 drop sitting in back of Corolla, already planning on bags.
'86 std---lowered 20/22r block and ALOT of mods to engine '86 std---going to be my dually '86 std dually--got just for parts( frame to gone to save) '89 std -- 4x4, wanted a lifted truck at the time.. i think i have an '85 std pickup for parts but been awhile so i cant remember..

got a 94 ext. cab 5 speed 22re when I was 16, wrecked it. Now I've got another 94 ext. cab auto. 22re wrecked it also, but I'm fixing it. and I just bought my 88 4runner 5 speed 22re 4x4.. So thats 3 so far.
