Here's an idea... bucket/bench hybrid! overstuff the side supports, then you'll have a mix! Yes, it is a shift lever... Too bad Collins94's chain shifter was so heavy, you could buy that from him otherwise.

Yeah, put more foam in the sides of where you sit, maybe weld a couple of loops to the seat frame too. That's an idea I had before I decided to change to a pair of buckets.

Okay, that was wierd. It'll be interesting to see how your hybrid seat will turn out, whenever you finish it you have to post pix of it.

Oh, only around the doors? I was going to do completely around driver and passenger, say screw a middle passenger. (part of the reason I removed the middle seat belt)

I've heard of them, I think there's one in Temecula. Never been though, may just one day when I have the cash. Anyway, if Guitar Center falls through, I'm applying at a pizza parlor in Murietta, Jersey's, just across the street from the bowling alley. Most of my friends have moved out of state, so the only ones I ever see now are my girlfriend Stephanie, and my friend Taylor, who lives 25 miles away if I take the Ortega Highway. He wrestled too... Think Saddleback High School.

I don't like sliding around period. I love the feeling of my truck sliding, but not me. Drifting isn't as fun if you and your car's a$$ are sliding, maybe it's just my vinyl...

I don't know if that was his school name or not... it's been a while since I've seen him. Last time was my birthday, then three to four months before that. Too broke to go visit too. Distance there is double going freeway, and that's the only way my parents will let me go.:doah:

Either way, my bench is OUT. Not going to toss it though, gonna reupholster it, add a wooden frame beneath and make a couch for my room!:waytogo:

Later, whenever I get my own place, I'll convert it into an arcade stand, custom make a cabinet, paint it, then throw my Dreamcast and both steering wheel setups in it!

I've decided what I'm going to use my tax return for, the buckets and maybe a console if I can find one. Then route my MP3 cable through it and drill a hole in the center and make a mount. Gotta pic up another driver's side taillight lens too, my turn signal one is dark amber and the passenger is OE amber... eww.

You're totally ahead of me in posts now! I beat you to veteran, and now you're going to beat me to Toyotaholic!

You know, it's a good thing we have a thread made for thread jacking, that's all we're doing on this, talking about random BS, then changing subjects. PapaBear would have been pissed if we had this many pages to his "Took A Drive" thread.

Then he threw in funny a$$ comments on here from time to time, including when we first started this thread. And changing his avatar... hilarious!
