I need to put a new fuel tank in my 1982 2wd pickup. I cannot for the life of me find another replacement tank. Would a tank from an 84-88 work? I'm not too concerned about a tank from a shortbed, the extra capacity isn't that big of a deal to me. As long as it fits I'll give it a go!

 

Found a post on Yotatech that mentioned the 84-88 carb tanks working without too much hassle. I ordered one today and will post with results when it arrives.
