Howdy folks, new here from Colorado Springs.

Been working on a rusty pile that was 7/8 on it's way to the scrap heap. Plan is to make it into my 90s fast n furious racer...but it's got a long way to go.

Had a bunch of rust repair work to do, but just about done with the cab. Next up will be tackling the bed, but initial inspection says it's not as bad. Would love to get to mechanical stuff, but this poor thing was on life support so metal fab will be my future for a while yet.

I got a bunch of videos of my trials on the YouTube's. The first 4 videos are terrible...no idea what I'm doing with the camera so the videos are way too long and boring. But, the later ones are tolerable.

Once I get to the mechanical stuff I'll be looking for some help and guidance, in the meantime enjoy watching my folly. Peace.

    Greetings!

Great job saving another would-be victim of the crusher :waytogo: and I love that shamrock green! Will be interesting to see a race truck made out of this ol gal

    Thanks!

It's wild how many folks dig the green, but 100% agree. Certainly keeping it green, but miles away from paint.

Still working through the mess. Got the undercarriage cleaned up enough to blast.

Also got it set back on the frame, sitting mostly aligned with the bed. Need to order some isolation rubber or maybe delrin to make some body mounts.

While poking around saw some bubbles around the windshield...as always, if it looks bad through the paint it is really bad.

Five patches in one day? I feel pretty good about that.
