97 Tacoma 7.5 rear

    1997 2.4L Toyota Tacoma 2wd
    I have a 1997 Toyota Tacoma 2wd 2.4L 2RZ 5spd truck I’m tryna lock up the rear since it is a open 7.5 diff but can’t seem to find any lockers my next route it to weld it I also have a 8’ third member just not the housing or axles any and all suggestions will help appreciate it!! My goals for this truck is just burnouts and drag racing

    I saw Eaton/ARB/YUKON make lockers for the 7.5 also eBay had a cheap one for about $160.. I haven't used neither one but those are reputable companies. Welding is the cheaper route but it will break on the long run since you distort the tensile strength with uneven heat exchange/transfer when welding. Curious, what kind of power are you making?
