I have been searching for a 82-83 2WD grille in Grey specifically an OEM one and I have had a couple of unknown pages on there that seem to sparsely carry some 79-83 pickup parts. Has anyone on here heard of them, or maybe bought something from those guys online? A bit dubious since I've never bought anything off of Instagram... maybe i'm just paranoid

Not that I have been 'scammed' in the past over parts, but I would like to have some re-assurance before I get shipped a part that doesn't work or something...

 

Personally I'd never shop at any instagram page, but over the years have come across many Toyota truck/4runner-only salvage operations across the US; I'd imagine one of them has what you want so I'd start calling those type of places.

 

Yeah, I was figuring since I've had a couple follow my account over the years and any interest I've had in any of 'their' parts was very pushy in a sense, not quite friendly either. Thought I had a score on a grille, but alas, it's the wrong color (Yes I am picky about it and I will die on that hill) and $200? Seems a bit much for *just* a grille, without the hardware eitherway [shipping not included] but I'll still keep looking...

Salvage operations? Like sellers that specify in Toyota stuff or toyota-exclusive junk yard? Very interesting considering I own my Pickup of course and a 1989 Toyota Van (which parts are indeed rare to come by)
