Okay so I just got my head rebuilt and I decided to buy a Weber carburetor. My problem is that I bought an electric choke Weber carburetor and my truck previously had the stock water choke carburetor. And I don’t know how to covert it. Any help guys?
the large water nipple on top of the manifold needs to be connected to the long steel pipe that runs from the water pump to directly below the intake manifold. Easy enough to fabricate a splice using heater hose. Your manifold holds coolant internally. It’s important that the coolant has the ability to circulate out from there. Without that circulation, air pockets can develop affecting thermostat opening and closing, not to mention super heated water remaining in the manifold. Some people try to block that area off. I don’t recommend you do that. I’ve attached a photo of my setup. Dirty engine, but you’ll get the idea.
Thank you! This is what I did and the 90 degree t that came off of it I put a rubber cap on and pipe clamped it.
