7 leaves. That's the RV springs I just put on. Stiff aren't they?

A little but not as bad as the ones I built, when I first got it. I had to load the bed with 45-50 gallons of water along with the toolbox so it wouldn't rattle your teeth out if you ran over a dime.

These ARBs have some flex, still needs some breaking in I think. At the end of the day it’s still a truck, definitely not a Cadillac. I’m good with how it rides now, it is a lot of fun to drive. To each his own.

Well pondering some summer projects, and finishing up the suspension on Roland tops the list. So Rancho 5000 front shocks, and a Trail Gear 1-1/2" beveled shim/lift block aft.
Along with redoing the fuel supply system- seems that the Weber prefers an electric fuel pump and pressure regulator - 2-5psi
Of course this all depending on the work scene. fingers crossed. I may have to spend the summer in exile....

Well, Roland woke up from hibernating over the winter, and cranked right up-once the fuel pump filled the carburetor. Then off to work, doing cabin opening chores:
Like hauling water-35 gallons, gas-22 gallons and groceries along with the normal compliment of tools(200+#) onboard. It was nice to have the additional ballast crossing the windy bridge between Healy and the Park, seems that taller= more sail area…

Thinking that suspension work might be finished.
Shocks all around & shim blocks aft. IMG_1538.jpeg
    Front shocks installed IMG_1540.jpeg
Next up shim blocks for restoring the rake:

no real level spot in the driveway IMG_1542.jpeg
Post shim blocks with about 400# of tools and cargo
    IMG_1539.jpeg
with tools and a load of water.
Even semi loaded ( truck is never empty) it rides pretty nice, and has decent flex.
Next up bypass regulator & electric fuel pump.
