Whatup yotafam, I have a 90 sr5, pure gold luv this truck. Put in power windows and door locks, keyless entry, made the hood bump into a small cowl and added vents for cooling, 3 core rad w external trans cooler, Just did the aisin timing belt kit, painted in my driveway, and got new decals made. Also went w the 4wd grill and modded the lower valence. On the hunt for wheels now.......... shem
Id thought about doing the power window mod. Did you just swap the Rails and added the motor or did you change the whole door? I've hear it's easier to change the doors..
The locks were harder to do because they were custom. I just got 4 runner window motors, it was super easy to do. The mounting holes were different but the door had holes for most of them already. I think just 1 wasnt there. Got a wiring kit offa ebay, was done in a few hours. Only bad part is where I installed the switches forward of the door latch, the gear arm of the window linkage would hit the back of the switches. I got 90 degree crimp on female connectors and now no rub. Def recommend it
I dont like the purple, was an indigo blue in the ad but that chits purple. I dont like purple, but it gets a lot of likes. The front lip I made from a piece of plywood and fiberglassed it to the valence and tossed in some driving lights.
Hahaha that's funny how they lie in the adds just to bait you.. that valance came out clean! Almost looks like a more aggressive street scene valance! Those cobra wheels would really make this truck pop!
