So I have another mod project I'm working on, it will be very cool when I get it finished.

I have 85-92 camaro power mirrors on my truck, have had for some years now. I got a 2nd pair & I am installing turn indicators into them. The arch on the indicators is close to that of the mirrors but not close enough for me. So using Evercoat metal to metal to bring to where I want. Also on the indicators I had to make a way to hold tight in location, stand offs of carbon fiber tube & stainless button heads are doing the trick.

This is a cool mod. A bit of modern touch to an oldskool truck.. how are you going to wire it up?

 

tap into the turn signal wires at each side rockers & run wire though the back side up into my doors. Doors are suicide, stock hinges & latches.

 

Sweat and simple!!

 

Got the mirrors shot in the base coat & 5 coats of clear.
Also got them cut & polished out, today I will install the turn lights & seal them in. Then have to shoot paint inside the from the front opening to cover the back side of the turn lights as so no black can be seen.

 

Project is done next install them & run the wiring
