    Hi all,

I've found a MK2 Supra LSD that I want to swap into my 2wd truck with a F372 rear (7.5").
My only questions are regarding the actual install, is it a bolt in thing? Or do I need to gut each diff and put the LSD into my old one? Just trying to figure out the scope of the project.

I also saw people mentioning carrier bearing differences, I was hoping to get information on that as well.

Sorry for the questions, a lot of the links are dead on the older posts :/

    Thanks for the help!

Definitely keep us posted. I'm eager to see how simple it really is. I'd consider this upgrade if I get my hands on a good unit!

Hey all, sorry for the delay forgot about this thread lol.

The Supra LSD bolts straight into the pickup housing, same bearings and everything, I only swapped the ring gear so my ratio stays the same. Super easy upgrade if you can find a MK2 Supra diff.

Are those 1.5 or 2 way LSD unit's?

    It's a factory diff, so don't think it's a 2 way lol. It's a factory clutch type LSD I'm assuming either 1 way or 1.5 way.
