Not really looking for more power, I prefer the cool factor and ease of use above all else. Swapping in a cool stock engine should give me both of those, as well as a good bit more power, lol

Yea that's cool too. Would you stay within the Toyota family of engines or is there a personal favorite you would throw into this bad boy!?

I wasn't a big fan of supercharging these 22r's but I've come to learn that for the power/money it's easier/cheaper to supercharge.. plus you still have all OEM reliability and hardware. Plus it's cool as hell vs an LS/1uz/1jz/2jz/3sg swap that cost 3x more to complete... I think I just sold myself!! Hahahah

I’m not loyal to any brand, but yea I would prefer to stay Toyota if possible. I’m pretty stubborn and picky, stuff needs to be right for me to use it, meaning pricing, looks, performance, etc…the supercharger kit for LC is nearly $5k us, I’m sure I can swap in a Beams engine for less, or even make up a turbo

Sure you can. Beams swaps with ecu's and 6spd go for about 3.5k plus shipping. Great engine and tranny swap IMHO IF you gear the 3rd member correctly. that would mean finding 4.10 or higher.. lce kits are good but you can always go with the Camden kit. I think those go for around 2.5k.
