But will it still clear the hood when you install the Holly double pumper and air cleaner?

Cory, I ran into the same situation with hood clearance. I wanted to keep the sleeper look with the stock hood so I installed a LS1 low profile intake manifold with the throttle body and fuel rails from Hawks Motorsports. Easily cleared my hood with no issues. A carb and intake manifold would have required me to purchase a fiberglass hood with a aftermarket hood scoop.

Are you still having clearance issues with the LS6 manifold?

Are you fabricating your own motor mounts or ordering a LS swap kit? I am using the Dirty Dingo brand LS universal hot rod engine mounts and I welded the mounts onto the frame after centering it up. There are many other LS swap mounts on the market that could work as well.

I also had to install a low profile oil pan for my build because the motor I have is from a Silverado and the pan was too deep for my truck build.
