22r rebuilt

    OK guys i finally done it i rebuilt my 22r with a few goodies from engnbldr like over sized stainless valves there 270/430 cam and the RV valve springs... we also port & polished the intake and head so far its great i will tell ya how it is after she is fully broken in we bored it tight and just getting the valves adjusted right

    next upgrades are header probably a Doug thorley or lc 4-2-1 ,zoom clutch and a 5speed

    yea i wanna throw on a 5 speed also, i hate my 4... as for headers im probably gonna get my LC.. idk havent really looked into it that much but im debatin between a new 22r or a new 22re either way its gonna be a brand new LC

    Relly impressive when you do something like this yourself - when my motor goes I figured I'd get one from the myriad of Jap engine rebuilders on Craigslist - they advertise complete motors with exchange for your core for $695.00 - has anyone else done this?

    you might want a doctor to take a look at that CinNAMmon lol so far i love it just tryin to rack up the miles to get her broken in lol only 800 more woot:waytogo:

    OK so another problem just showed its ugly head.. i have intermittent spark... i am getting new plug wires, cap, and rotor tomorrow will post if that fixes it

    oh it runs trust me it just misses every once in a while... btw i came over hwy 58 from La pine to Eugene and it never even bogged comin over the hills in 4th gear...hate having a 4speed
