Cowl hoods?????

    I just wanted to see if anyone knows of a place that sells cowl hoods or any kind of aftermarket hood for that matter!!:confused:

    Look on Minitruckin's website under tech articles. There is a shop in North Carolina, not sure of the name, but he was getting around $450 or so for a fiberglass hood.

    The showdown hood is a small cowl 1 to 2 inch i was looking for 3 to 4 inch
    They do look nice though, mini truckin had a nice write up on that hood.

    THE SHOWDOWN HOOD HAS A 2.25" X 28" SCOOP IT STANDS OUT WELL,BUT DOESN'T LOOK OVERKILLED.

    i dont know how good that hood is going to breath. The whole point of a cowl hood is to lower the under hood temps, with such a small rise it might not help as mush as a 3 to 4 would. im planing for a turbo setup and the under hood temp is going to go way up. the showdown hood does look nice but im thinking its not going to be enough.
