What seat options do I have for my 1976 SR5 Truck? I'm going to get hell for this but I really don't like the SR5 buckets, I really want a bench for my dog and my son. I found 2 seat options. One out of a Chinook but it doesnt have the indent for the 5 speed shifter (will my shifter hit the seat?) And the other is from an 84 pickup.

Do either of these work? Any input as to which one? I plan on getting either recovered, just want to know which one works better without mods. seat1.jpg seat2.jpg

Physically they may fit, mounting points may be off but drilling some holes may be necessary

IF, the shifter becomes a problem.. LC has a short shifter kit for the w series trans to reduce shifter throw and may address this issue. Food for thought.
